Uncle Goose Wooden Flyer Wagon and 28 blocks
The alphabet blocks are our 2 year olds current favorite toy (by far).  Whenever she disappears from the room we're in, we wonder "where's Julie?" - but then always find her in the other room arranging her blocks.  Without any prompting by us at all (slacker parenting style), she just loves arranging the blocks by color in the ABC flyer wagon.  She especially loves the embossed sides of the blocks, finding all the matching green embossed sides for one grouping, and then picking another color for matching the rest of the blocks into a 2nd grouping in the other half of the wagon.  Currently we're missing 1/4th of the blocks from our set (probably they're with all our missing socks somewhere), so she has 1 long empty row in the wagon after arranging them onto each side (this is still her favorite toy even with the missing blocks though!)  The wagon can also be used as a pull-toy separate from the blocks, so this is like two toys in one! Uncle Goose Nursery Rhyme Blocks

Uncle Goose Groovie Blocks
Uncle Goose Groovies use the latest educational theories for teaching basic math concepts. Designed for many different uses, these blocks help children learn sorting, ordering, opposites, and pattern building. The set contains 28 grooved blocks with debossed numerals and math symbols, plus geometric shape sets that correspond to the number on the opposite side.
Uncle Goose Groovie Blocks are not complicated, they’re just blocks, after all. They are, however, full of potential for helping children master basic math concepts. Children will “understand” the Groovies immediately. They will stack them, knock them down, interlock them, make patterns and shapes, touch the shapes with their fingers. It’s not essential to a child’s learning that an adult be involved while playing with Uncle Goose Groovie Blocks.

Embossing
What makes Uncle Goose blocks special are the two embossed letters on each block. The embossing process gives depth and detail to each block and appears to be carved. Actually these designs are pressed into the wood under immense pressure. We are proud of our embossing capability and produce a wide range of embossed letters, numbers and images. 
Beveled Edges
We chamfer the upright edges of our blocks to eliminate sharp corners and make the blocks more comfortable to hold. 
Non-Toxic Inks
Our toys are made from child-safe materials, especially non-toxic inks. Our toys are tested regularly and always surpass national and international standards on ink safety. Of course there is very little ink on our blocks, so rest assured that a child will not be exposed to harmful substances even if they should consume an entire set of blocks. The same is true for your household pets who may even chew on the blocks (see the Replacements page for what to do if that happens). 
Numerals
The ABC blocks also feature numerals 0 to 9 and math symbols (+ - X, etc.). As children begin to recognize letters they will also learn their numbers. Later on they may use the blocks to form equations just as they are spelling words. 
Numeral Names
We print the name of each numeral beneath the number so that a child can learn how to spell these words. 
Uppercase Letters
Our standard ABC blocks feature all uppercase letters. Most children learn to read and write the uppercase. 
Animal Pictures
Each block features a picture of a different animal. Children delight in recognizing the animals on each block. 
Animal Names
We print the name of each animal beneath the picture so that a child can learn how to spell these names. 
Basswood
Our blocks are made from basswood which is grown around the Great Lakes. Basswood is ideal for making blocks because it’s light-weight, light-colored and odor-free. The basswood we use is farmed for manufacturing on industry-owned land. We are committed to environmentally-appropriate manufacturing.
