Tiny Birds Organic Cloth Training Pants
Tiny Birds cloth training pants are also wonderful for families that use EC methods, since they are easy to pull down like underwear. Please allow 1 week for sewing time, since we make these as a custom order with the outer print of your choice. There are more print choices further down the page.
Our cloth training pants are made with layers of 100% organic cotton velour, absorbent and oh so comfy! 100% organic cotton velour inner, with 2 internal soaker layers also made of organic cotton velour. No poly! These trainers are a snap-free design for an extra cozy fit. My daughter became sensitive to the pressure on her skin from plastic-snaps, so these trainers are officially toddler-approved! She calls them her cozy-underwear. Optional outer print is 100% cotton, soft and stretchy. Machine wash/dry. For trips away from home, or over-night, we recommend adding a 1-layer wool pull-on cover on top of the trainer. The wool pull-on is sold separately below. Another great leak-proof option is to use one of the 2-layer stretchy pull-on Disana wool covers or our Tiny Birds 2-layer wool soaker-shorts for night-time.

"I loved these! For several reasons: 1) They actually fit my early learner, who we have partially ECed since babyhood. She is a very skinny toddler, and these fit her well at 18 months with no loose areas around her little legs, and still not so tight that they gave her any red marks at all. 2) The lining is super soft and comfy (and absorbent) without being too fluffy for a training pant. "We just started using the training pants two weeks ago. We had been doing potty training on and off for awhile but when he turned 3, we just told him we were not using anymore diapers during the day. He has sensory integration issues and hates wearing underwear or training pants but after he realized that having an accident out of the house is really unpleasant, he wants to wear the TBO training pants instead of underwear. He had an accident at a friend's birthday party and we went to the bathroom to change him and the training pants caught in pee and the poop that we just had to put training pants in a bag and take home and he was able to keep the same pants he was wearing on. He was happy about it and requests the TBO training pants when we leave the house. We were fearful that having training pants would interfere with his potty training but it hasn't at all, instead, it gives him the confidence to leave the house without diapers. We'll be glad to buy a couple of back-up ones once Tiny Birds has them in stock.”

"I love the materials used in the training pant. It held a decent amount of urine, more so than other training pants. For the dirtier aspect, there were no leaks out of the training pant. I do like this training pant, it washes well with the Rockin' Green. So far it does not hold in any ammonia smells."
