(soft and machine washable organic diaper cover) The unique soaker-shorts design is a diaper cover that can also be worn as shorts. The soaker-shorts feature two layers of organic merino wool for protection against leaks. This style would also be good under a dress (the 1-layer version is more trim under pants) Customer comments: "Oh my gosh! You have created such a great diaper cover dash shorts combo. Please note thigh measurements are down low and straight across the thigh (where the soaker-shorts leg opening is - often at knee level for newborns) 1-layer soaker-shorts are good for lighter wetters, or they can be used as a thin cover over training pants for a little extra protection against leaks. This wonderful fabric will not pill or felt even with frequent machine washing.  "I recently received a pair of your gorgeous organic wool pants for my son. wool newborn sack For small babies, it can be hard to fish their little scrunched legs through pants, so I designed this baggy-style (with snap-bottom closure) for newborns. It is 2 layers of organic merino wool, and machine washable. The waist has soft organic elastic like the pants, and won't leave red marks on baby's sensitive skin. This style can be worn with a shirt or sweater on top, just like the pants, but it keeps babies feet warm too. You can cut openings for the car-seat buckle if you'd like (though I haven't tried it yet), because knit fabric doesn't unravel like woven fabrics. The cut-edge may just look a little fuzzy after washing. I would probably try to cut the opening low down closer to the snaps than the top, just to be sure the opening doesn't become difficult to access if it pulls up behind the diaper at all.
