The organic merino wool soaker below a one-size fits most (15-35lbs) Girl's Tiny Birds Soaker with leg ruffles and unique adjustable leg openings.  The 7" opening expands to 13" thigh openings when the leg ties are completely removed.  This soaker is hand-knit and is intended primarily for daytime use (it is not partially felted) but after a week or two of use it will begin felting up some on its own especially in the wet zone and become ready for night-time use.

Please note that the merino wool yarn does tend to pill and felt more than other wool yarns.  If you'd like a merino wool cover that is easier to care for, try our Tiny Birds fabric covers and pants.  You can buy a fabric shaver to help keep the knit soakers/longies looking nice longer.  These soakers are now made through a partnership with Heather at Organic Hand Knits.  I wasn't able to stay open for orders when I knit all of the soakers myself, so with Heather's help I hope to stay open for orders more often.  Thanks so much Heather!
Organic wool information (from Treliske Organics)

Why Organic?  The difference between organic sheep and conventional sheep is that certified organic sheep do not receive chemical treatments such as drenching or dipping for parasites, fly dressings, antibiotics, growth promotants, vaccines, nor do they graze on pastures that have been sprayed with herbicides. Organic sheep are bred for resistance to parasites and are fed outdoors all year round on special herbal ley pastures to build healthy immune systems. Organic sheep must graze only on certified organic farms and be fed certified organic stockfood. Genetically engineered or modified feed is prohibited.

Organic wool yarn has not been treated chemically throughout the entire production, from the farm to the end garment. The wool is cleaned in special approved biodegradable cleansing agent before being carded and spun at a Certified Organic Mill.

Organic production is based on positive holistic management systems, which reduce or eliminate the need for most agricultural chemicals and promote healthy soils, air, waterways and responsible animal husbandry practices. Customers look for organic products because they believe them to be :
1)  Safer as no pesticides or harmful chemicals are used.
2)  High Quality.
3)  Better for the environment as no synthetic or harmful chemicals are used on the farm.
