This soft wool fabric is so much nicer (and thicker) than other wool fabrics typically used for shirts and babybodies (most people call this type of style a "wool onesie", but we were told by Gerber that the term "onesie" is trademarked).  I think you will love this little "bodysuit/babybody/whatever" though!  I designed it originally for Julie (at 18 months old and 25 lbs) using our favorite organic merino fabric (the same fabric as the Tiny Birds diaper covers).  The sides come down further on the legs than most "onesies/babybodies" because it's designed to be used over cloth diapers.  The neck opening is stretchy and fits easily over heads of all sizes (so far no-one has returned one so that's usually a good sign!)  There are also 3 snaps on the bottom for easy diaper changes.  If you need more than 1 layer of protection over a cloth diaper, you can put out single-layer wool pants on top, or the 1-layer version of the soaker-shorts can be worn underneath as another option for heavy wetters.  One layer seems to be fine for us though over a diaper, and the wool seems to dry out pretty fast after a diaper-change (so we just "unsnap, change the diaper, and resnap" for quick diaper-changes throughout the day).  Machine wash cold, air dry.  Made in the U.S. by Tiny Birds Organics.
